Alexx Brown is a Performing Artist, Communications Strategist and Creative who has been positioned at the intersection of faith & culture — Using his own unique flare, outgoing personality and infectious sense of humor, Alexx has become a true up and coming multi-hyphenate including roles as a communications strategist, actor, gospel mime artist, event host and faith leader.

The son of a school educator, Baptist minister and prayer warrior, Alexx embraces his identity of a "Preacher's Kid." The spiritual son of Second Baptist Church of Evanston, Illinois, where the Rev. Dr. Michael Nabors is his Pastor and where he was ordained as a Deacon in 2020.

Though blessed with natural abilities, Alexx has submitted to training and cultivation of his diverse skill set and gifts. He is a trained actor, who's studied at Piven Theatre, Green Room Studio, The Second City and a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University.

Through his passion for storytelling, dance and his faith, Alexx founded Silence In Motion Mime Ministry at Second Baptist Church Evanston (est. 2006), Animated Anointing Mime Ministry (est. 2008) and co-Founded More Than Words Mime Ministry at Fisk University (est. 2008) — all ministries that tell stories of faith, through the unique art form of pantomime. He also serves as the Coordinator of LightHouse Young Adult Ministry (est. 2014) — a ministry hub for Young Adults comprised of multiple congregations focused on inspiring lives, creating community & facilitating spiritual growth among 18–35-year-olds
